Using the service

You may use Cross Stitch Maker for personal and commercial projects, subject to these terms and applicable law. Use the site responsibly and do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the website, its hosting, or other users’ devices. Do not use the service to create or distribute unlawful content.

The tools are provided for general creative and planning use. You are responsible for reviewing a pattern before stitching, printing, selling, or sharing it.

Your content and exports

You keep ownership of the photos, patterns, text, and other material you bring to the tools. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use an image, design, name, or other material. Do not upload or convert material that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.

You may use the patterns and exports you create, including for commercial work, provided you have the necessary rights to the source material. Our tools do not grant rights in third-party photos, artwork, fonts, or designs.

Color references and third-party materials

DMC color codes and names are provided as a practical reference. Screen colors are approximate and can vary by device, fabric, dye lot, lighting, and thread. Compare against physical thread before beginning a project. Cross Stitch Maker is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by DMC.

Open-source and third-party materials used by the site are listed in the color data and licenses notice.

Availability and disclaimer

We work to keep the tools useful and available, but provide them “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every purpose. To the extent allowed by law, Cross Stitch Maker is not liable for losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

We may change, pause, or discontinue any part of the service. These terms do not limit rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
