How the tools work

Cross Stitch Maker is designed so that pattern editing and photo conversion happen in your browser. Images you choose, the patterns you create, and exported files are processed on your device; we do not upload them to a Cross Stitch Maker server for conversion or storage. If you save a project in the tool, it is saved in your browser’s local storage until you clear it or remove it using the tool.

Like most websites, the hosting provider may receive basic technical information needed to deliver the site, such as your IP address, browser type, requested pages, and the time of the request. This information is handled under the provider’s own terms and retention practices.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site and tools are used. It may collect information about your visit and tool actions, such as pages viewed and interactions. We configure it not to record your photos or pattern content, and we disable Google signals and ads personalization in our implementation. Google’s handling of information is governed by its privacy policy. You can limit analytics through browser settings, extensions, or other controls that block Google Analytics.

Email

If you contact us at support@crossstitchmaker.net, we receive the information you put in your message, including your email address. We use it to respond to your request, investigate a reported issue, and maintain support records. Please do not send sensitive personal information, passwords, or payment details.

Your choices

You can clear locally saved projects using the tool or by clearing this site’s browser storage. Because we do not operate accounts for the tool, there is no account profile to access or delete. You may also contact us about personal information you have sent by email.
